This video focuses on the classification of igneous rocks based on
texture which is determined by the size, shape, and arrangement of
crystals in the igneous rocks. The environment where the molten rock
cools and the amount of dissolved gases determines which texture which
forms. Different igneous rocks will have different textures, but could
have the same mineral composition. A sample question is included at the
end.
