This video focuses on the mineral properties streak, luster, and
color. A minerals luster classifies the mineral as metallic or
non-metallic in appearance and the streak and color describes a minerals
apparent and true color in powdered form. A streak plate is used to
obtain the streak of a mineral. Color is not a good property to
distinguish minerals, as a single mineral may have different colors. A
