

This "superferry" of the highest commercial ice class, sister ship to Marine Atlantic's flagship the MV Caribou. It covers the 260 nautical mile Argentia crossing in approximately 14 hours and 96 nautical mile to the Port auxBasques route in under five hours.

ENJOY YOUR VOYAGE: DECK 5: Most of the passanger service and entertainment areas are located on deck 5. You can enjoy feature length movies on a large screen in the theatre, you can test your skills at the highpowered video games, you can try your luck at a casino, or entertain tour children in the children's playroom. You can pick up a few things with the well stocked store called All Sea Gift Shop, eat on full course meals, or light snakes in the cafeteria,or relax in the licensed Placentia bar lounge usally feature with live entertainment in the summer.Passengers seating in the Sea lounge, a tourist imfortmation booth has well has the purser's and chief steward's office, can be found on deck 5 as well.
DECK 6:Deck 6 features a Bar Haven dining room offering full course dining with seating for 60, meeting facilites in the Merasheen room and for outdoor relaxation, a wind- screened sundeck.
DECK 7: Deck 7 ofers comfortable passanger seating in the Carter lounge(a designated smoking area) and the Baccalieu lounge, Dayniter lounges are in quiet locations on deck 3 and 4.
PLEASE NOTE: Under the Non-Smokers Health Act, smoking on the Smallwood is restricted to designated areas only.
. Our ship is well eqipped for your comfort and safety and the crew is well trained in emergency procedures. Complete lifesaving information is posted prominently throughout the Smallwood. Marine Atlantic recommends passangers to famiarze themselves with the locations and the uses of the emergency facilites.
