Creating a Title

All web pages have titles and you don't need to know HTML to create one. Follow the steps below:

Congratulations! Your web page has a title!

 


 

Saving Your Page

In order for people to see your web page on the Windows NT network, you need to call your main page default. Follow the steps below:


Adding and Editing Text

To speed up the process, type a short paragraph about yourself. Tell where you live, where you teach, what grades you teach and, if you like, a hobby or interest.

When you have finished typing the paragraph, we will format it.

Changing the Font (style of lettering)

Changing the colour of the Font

Changing the size of the font

Making Text Bold

Making Text Italics

Underlining Text


Adding a Background Colour


Saving a Background Image

Saving a Picture

Saving a picture is the same process as saving a background as done above.

Follow the steps above to save the email graphic above. Make sure you save it in your WWW folder.

Congratulations! You have just created your first web page.

 


Adding a Horizontal Line

Lines like the one above can be used to break your web page into different parts. This is very easy.

You will notice that a line has been placed on your web page.

 


Editing a Horizontal Line

Lines can be edited. Follow the steps below to chane the way your line looks.


Making a Link

Links to other web sites or other pages within your own web site are an important component for any web page. The process is relatively simple.


   
   

 

 

Creating Tables

Tables are efficient ways of presenting data, photos and information. FrontPage Express makes it very easy to create and edit tables.
