General Information

The "Eastern Newfoundland Regional Science and Technology Fair" is an annual event that brings together over 300 of the best and brightest Grade 7 to 12 Science students of Eastern Newfoundland. To qualify for the fair, students will have already proven their skill in their school science fair.

The fair will be held at the Marine Institute Gymnasium, Ridge Road

Fair Dates for 2010
- March 26th & 27th -

NO PARENTS ARE PERMITTED ON THE FLOOR UNTIL PUBLIC VIEWING

The volunteer council that organizes the fair includes local area teachers, university researchers and entrepreneurs. It is of note that our region hosted the Canada Wide Science Fair in 2004.

- 8:00 am - 9:00 am - Registration - Marine Institute lobby
- 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Student set-up of projects - Marine Institute gymnasium

- 10:00 am - 1:20 pm - Student Activities

- 11:00 am- 11:40 am, 11:40 am - 12:20 pm, 12:20 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch will include 3 seatings that are rotated with tours. Lunch can be purchased at the Marine Institute at a cost of $8.00 per person.

- 8:00 am - 1:20 pm - Showcase - Marine Institute lobby

- 12:00 am - 1:00 pm - Judging without students present (Judging Form)
- 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm - Judging with students present
