Sarnia, Lambton County, Ontario
Behind the library in Sarnia stands two war memorials. This one, dedicated to 16 men who
fought in South Africa,
1899 to 1901, is, no doubt, the oldest in the country. It was erected largely through donations from Lambton
school children.
