Constructed in 1979 in memory of the veterans who have passed away and are buried in the field of honour.

To date, this memorial has not been dedicated. A Field of Honour services was instituted in 1995 and has been an annual event since. It will be dedicated immediately preceding the 1998 Field of Honour service. While the Field of Honour and the Cenotaph are the property of Fredericton Br. 4, any veteran (and his/her spouse) may be interred there.

The Field of Honour services is a Capital District undertaking. This summer (1997), flag poles were erected and flags raised.
